It seems like all I have to talk about lately is movies, but last night i watched into the wild, its based on a book *which i need to read*, and its about this guy who leaves everything behind to live in the wild and ultimately wants to get to alaska and "live off the land" its a good flick, and right down my alley with making you think. In my opinion he took it to the extreme, but ultimately the message of how we overconcern ourselves with material things is poisoning our society and ourselves makes you think twice. At first hes set on how you dont need anyone or anything to be happy he says at one point your happiness isnt from your relationships withothers, but realizes in the end that happiness is better shared. Its pretty lame that it takes a movie to want to change my relationship with other people, but thats what i love about movies like this. Its absolutely beautiful, and you should see it if you already havent. And I plan on reading the book so I'll fill you in later.
